What is new in Viktor

Viktor downloads and installs a new version by himself. One click and he takes care of the rest.

For companies there is now an MSI package — Viktor can be deployed in bulk through Intune, GPO or SCCM.

Viktor can measure how many Viktors are already running out in the world. Until now only downloads were visible.

Viktor finally sees Microsoft Store apps, can tell you how much memory they eat — and stopped being needlessly harsh on the score.

A permanent “Startup” button in the bottom row, and a “Check again” button — until now the only way to re-run the check was to restart Viktor.

The score counts the HEALTH of the machine only, not its settings. Both used to be added together, so a healthy computer lost points over a tunable setting — for example −15 for eight startup programs.
Startup programs moved to the Performance section and their button is now called “Tune”. A slower start is not a sick computer.
Memory in use now sits on the left under the disks, so the bar is visible without scrolling. And it is coloured by how full the memory is — dark green on the left, amber and red towards the right.

The memory test no longer loses its “run” button once it has been run.
The memory meter used to promise Disk Map on hover, where it does not lead. It stays quiet now.
The help in five languages promised a different button than the app actually has.
